Head of Account Opening and Credit Administration (Job Ref No.: HR-202007)
Job Responsibilities
Client on Boarding & Account Opening
Collect and review all the documentation (constitution and organization) required to on board a party (corporate client, FI, trading counterparty, bond issuer).
Correspond with FO and also compliance and ensure the needed documents are complete, up-to-date and consistent.
Ensuring all the documentation are properly filed and accessible as and when it is needed.
Creation and maintain the party record in the core-banking system.
Respond to questions from FO and compliance w.r.t the various client status inquiry on need basis.
Led, participate and contribute to various operations process and system improvement project.
Credit Administration
Review the credit proposal on the different credit terms, pre-and-post credit condition and responsible for the compilation & delivery of the facility letter to the clients.
Following up the provision of the various condition subsequence (of credit) from the FO to ensure the completeness and accuracy of them.
Ensuring physical collaterals are security stored and properly registered and discharged.
Loading & maintenance of facility limit and collateral information in the core-banking system.
Preparation of periodic credit reports for management & HO review.
Respond to question from FO and credit w.r.t the various credit related inquiry on need basis.
Led & contribute and participate actively various operations process and system improvement project.
Products & Domain Knowledge
HKMA AML/CFT guideline, FATCA, CRS.
Syndicated Loan (agent and participation), bilateral loan, basic trade finance, basic OTC derivative.
Job Requirements
University graduate in business or engineering discipline with minimum 10 years relevant experience.
Holder of ACAMS (Certificate of Anti-Money Laundering) or certificate of ECF on AML/ECF from HKIB will definitely be an advantages.
Excellent in both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua).
Able to think macro whilst also able to be work in a micro and detail manner if necessary.
Excellent people management experience and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Open-minded and be willing to embrace new things and changes.
Logical thinking and the capability and drive to resolve problems.
Strong personal commitment to delivery.
